Citric acid F.U. E330 is used in the dairy industry, as a pH regulator, in particular in the production of string cheeses (such as Mozzarella); it is also used in the acidification of whey for the production of Ricotta or cream for the production of Mascarpone.
In addition to the dairy sector, Citric Acid F.U. E330 is used in oenology as a stabilizer, capable of controlling and improving the entire production process; in addition to preventing the formation of ferric deposits, its contribution to the wine is to increase its fixed acidity and stabilize its balance.
In the production of beer the use of Citric Acid F.U. E330 allows you to correct the acidity of the must; usable for correcting the pH during the mashing phase or for stabilizing the water during the sparging phase.
